Modern Design

How can we describe modern design? Modern design does not have a single definition, but it is a movement that characterized a large number of design styles. It is difficult to describe in words, but in short we can describe it as reflection of the art and craft movement on the interiors. Modern design is part of the larger movement of modernization. It is usually backdated to the end of the 19th century.

Modern design is similar to the contemporary design. It is also influenced by an integral part of the Japanese design, which views as clean, straight lines, controlling the light without interrupting the view, contrasted by plain walls with one main accent color, produce cool and uncluttered effect and elegant.

Traditional Design

Traditional Design is influenced by an integral part of the classic European decor. The design speaks of pitch-perfect balance of formal and casual, comfort, classic and elegance tinged with hominess. Traditional wall surfaces are done in a flat painted finish or wallpaper. Most of the ceilings are often white and may have simpler beams.The crown molding with glossy white painted in traditional design is common and it adds to the formal look.
